NCAHMA members can participate in several committees. Committee participation is an integral part NCAHMA Membership.
Members oversee NCAHMA’s continuing education program, develop conference programming, and spearhead all member recruitment and retention programs.
Members research and author white papers and educational publications on methodologies and other market study fundamentals.
The Advisory Committee brings together the primary users of market studies including, including investors, syndicators, housing finance agencies, asset managers, and developers to provide feedback on how to improve our best practices and model content standards. In addition, the Advisory Committee serves as a conduit to the industry, providing a forum where market study users and providers can discuss critical issues and ideas.
Members spearhead the development and implementation of NCAHMA's code of ethics and professional responsibility.

For the last month, Congress has considered an appropriations minibus, H.R. 2112, to incorporate Fiscal Year 2012 spending bills for the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Justice, Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and related programs. On November 14, a House-Senate conference committee approved a compromise minibus measure in the form of a conference report. read more

For the past few weeks, the United States Senate has been considering an appropriations minibus, H.R. 2112, which includes the annual spending bills for Agriculture, Commerce-Justice-Science, Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development and multiple amendments therein.
