About the NH&RA Fall Developers Forum
Our annual Fall Developers Forum is a one and a half day meeting held each Fall in Boston. The conference focuses on transaction-oriented discussions, combining a mix of program updates, case studies, roundtable discussions, Council activities and networking events. In addition, the event highlights our evening celebration to present the year’s J. Timothy Anderson Awards for Excellence in Historic Preservation and our annual Affordable Housing Vision Awards honoring housing and community development leaders for providing affordable housing for America’s families.
About NH&RA
NH&RA is a professional association of successful and driven businesses involved in affordable housing, tax credit development and historic rehabilitation.
We meet quarterly in attractive, seasonal settings for open and candid discussions of cutting-edge issues affecting our business. Our meetings are renowned for their combination of cutting-edge information and networking opportunities, designed to foster professional working relationships. Our Fall Developers Forum is one of our major events each year at which various industry stakeholder groups come together to discuss national housing trends, assess policy initiatives and exchange ideas.
Affordable housing development is a challenging, knowledge-intensive, and relationship-driven enterprise. It requires up-to-the-minute information and collaboration with top-notch professionals. That’s where NH&RA comes in. Whether its issues of financing techniques, equity investment, deal structuring, asset management, subsidy allocations, project design, management operations or new development opportunities, you’ll get it from NH&RA. Our organization provides state-of-the-art information shared openly by leading developers, investors and professionals, and offers extraordinary opportunities for developing new contacts.
Our members work with low-income housing tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, new market tax credits, tax-exempt bond financing, state housing finance agencies, FHA, HUD and USDA rural development programs. Our membership is comprised of the leading developers, equity investors, lenders, state and local officials, bond underwriters, attorneys, accountants and other professionals who recognize the value of sharing information. They appreciate the setting offered by our organization and can attest to the value of the “NH&RA network.” NH&RA members have publicly acknowledged the growth they have experienced in their business as a result of the relationships gained through participating in NH&RA.
NH&RA members receive tremendous value from the trend spotting, information sharing, relationship building and business development opportunities at the Association's conferences.
