Home Depot Foundation's Affordable Housing Built Responsibly Program

Grant: Through the Affordable Housing Built Responsibly grant program, The Home Depot Foundation administers millions of dollars in grants each year to nonprofit organizations whose missions align with the Foundation's interests in supporting the production and preservation of affordable, efficient and healthy housing. The Home Depot Foundation makes grants to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charities in the United States and to charitable organizations in Canada. Support is given to programs and projects that align with the Foundation's mission and grant criteria. Texas HOME Program NOFA

Grant: The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs has announced the availability of approximately $11,527,136 in funding from the HOME Investment Partnerships Program for the development of affordable rental housing for low-income Texans. Texas Releases Housing Trust Fund NOFAs

Grant: The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs has released multiple notices of funding availability (NOFA) for programs operated under the 2010-11 Housing Trust Fund, including the Rural Housing Expansion Program and the Affordable Housing Match Program. Rural Development Announces Voucher Funding

Grant: USDA’s Rural Development has announced the availability of $16.4 million in FY 2010 under its Rural Development Voucher Program, and published the general policies and procedures for the use of these vouchers. These vouchers are limited to low-income tenants of RD-financed multifamily properties where the section 515 loan has been prepaid, either through prepayment or a foreclosure action, prior to the loan’s maturity date and after September 30, 2005. read more

HUD Announces Second Round for 2009 Brownfields Economic Development Initiative NOFA

Grant: HUD has announced that it is conducting a second competition for assistance under its FY-2009 Brownfields Economic Development Initiative (BEDI) NOFA. The second competition makes approximately $8.1 million in funding assistance used in conjunction with a new Section 108-guaranteed loan commitment.
