On behalf of our whole team here at the National Council of Affordable Housing Market Analysts (NCAHMA), thank you for your participation at the 2010 Spring Underwriting Forum last week in New Orleans. The event was a huge success because of industry professionals like you, who came to learn, network and share knowledge.
Since 2001, NCAHMA has been working to raise the quality of real estate market analysis by bringing together the most active professionals involved in affordable housing development to learn from one another, develop new contacts and take home information that can help businesses grow.
This year’s program was particularly timely and covered critical issues like current debt and equity markets, the evolving federal policy arena, and key underwriting issues facing the industry. My personal highlights included Wednesday’s roundtable discussion on changes happening within the Federal Housing Administration, and Thursday morning’s debate on scope and best practices for market studies.
