  • Spring Policy Forum (2010) May 20-21, 2010 

    Affordable housing, historic rehabilitation and New Markets Tax Credit development is governed by a complex and constantly evolving array of laws and regulations. As our industry struggles to respond to the new economic reality, key public policy makers in Congress, the White House, HUD, the Treasury Department and other government agencies will be playing outsized roles that will determine the future of our business as we know it.   • White House Schedules Online Chat on Sustainable Communities Partnership

    Date: 07/15 - 07/16

    On Thursday, July 15th the White House Office of Urban Affairs will host a live chat with the leadership of the Sustainable Communities Partnership, an unprecedented agreement between HUD, Transportation, and EPA to coordinate federal housing, transportation, and environmental investments. A part of President Obama's broader urban and metropolitan agenda, the partnership, aims to break down traditional silos and craft federal programs and policies that take a more collaborative and holistic approach to better respond to the needs of communities.  Featured participants include:
