Tax Credit Advisor, July 2009: A number of top officials have been sworn at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. They include: Ron Sims, Deputy Secretary; Sandra Henriquez, Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian Housing; Peter Kovar, Assistant Secretary for Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs; John Trasvina, Assistant Secretary for Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity; and Helen Kanovsky, General Counsel. Sims was formerly the chief executive of King County, WA. Henriquez previously was administrator and chief executive officer of the Boston Housing Authority. Kanovsky previously was chief operating officer and general counsel of the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust.

David Kunhardt, formerly with AEGON USA and Transamerica, is Vice President of Partnership Finance at Solar Power Partners, Inc., Mill Valley, CA.
