New York State Modifies, Extends Eviction Moratorium through Jan. 15, 2022
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) convened a special session of the New York state legislature, which then voted to extend the eviction moratorium until Jan. 15, 2022 and implement certain changes to the moratorium to address two recent Supreme Court decisions that blocked portions of the State’s moratorium and the larger Federal moratorium.
Maryland Public Service Commission Unanimously Approves Expansion of Community Solar Program Capacity
The Maryland Public Service Commission unanimously voted to expand the capacity of the state’s community solar program, as well as improve access for low- and moderate-income customer participation in the state’s Community Solar Pilot Program.

President Joseph Biden declared a Federal Major Disaster for 25 parishes in Louisiana. LIHTC properties in those parishes are granted temporary relief from certain requirements via the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) Rev. Proc 2014-49.
