About NCHMA’s Market Study Fundamentals Seminar
Our Market Study Fundamentals Seminar is designed to introduce affordable housing and multifamily finance professionals to the core concepts behind the creation and utilization of housing market studies. The seminar is designed with both market analysts and the market study user in mind. It provides an excellent foundation for professionals in the public, non-profit, and for-profit sectors involved in reviewing tax credit applications, underwriting affordable housing and developing multifamily real estate.
This seminar will explore essential topics including defining market areas, site analysis, housing market trends and conditions, capture rate methodology, achievable rents and much more. Formed in 2001, NCHMA and its membership have developed industry leading best practices and research for multifamily market research.
NCHMA has previously partnered with Housing Finance Agencies in California, Kentucky, Indiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.
This seminar will also provide attendees with up to 8.0 hours of continuing education towards NCHMA’s member designation. NCHMA training routinely fulfills CE requirements for appraisers, realtors and other housing professionals.
