Tax Credit Advisor, September 2011: A housing authority in Western Illinois is developing a mixed-use new markets tax credit (NMTC) project in a pioneering transaction that could serve as a model for others.

The project, Jazz@Walter Circle, broke ground on April 27, 2011, and was described by speakers at the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association’s recent 2011 Summer New Markets Tax Credit Symposium.
