Tax Credit Advisor — July 2012 — The Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition recognized the winners of the 18th Annual Charles L. Edson Tax Credit Excellence Awards at a June 21 ceremony in Washington, D.C. The awards honor outstanding affordable rental housing developments throughout the nation funded with federal low-income housing tax credits. A panel of judges selected six first-place finishers and 10 honorable mentions in six categories. A total of 55 applications from 24 states were received in the competition. The category winners are in Arizona, Massachusetts, Washington State, Florida, and Ohio.
