  The National Council of Affordable Housing Market Analysts, in partnership with National Housing & Rehabilitation Association is pleased to return to Washington, DC for our 2012 Affordable Housing Underwriting & Policy Forum. We will convene March 29-30 at the Four Points Hotel, conveniently located in the heart of our nation’s capital. • AHFA to Host Multifamily Housing Seminar

  Date: 02/10

  The Alabama Housing Finance Authority (AHFA) has announced it will host a free multifamily housing seminar on Friday February 10 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Renaissance Montgomery Convention Center in Alabama Ballroom A. This seminar is intended for interested participants in the HOME and Housing Tax Credit programs. While it is not mandatory, those who participate will receive additional points on each application they submit during the program funding cycles.

• Mississippi Affordable Housing Conference

  Date: 02/15 - 02/17

  The Mississippi Home Corporation (MHC) is currently planning its 2012 Annual Affordable Housing Conference, scheduled February 15-17 at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. The 2012 event is titled, “Inspire, Motivate, Create.” The conference will also present the 2012 QAP during a pre-conference workshop on February 15.

• Georgia to Host QAP Application Workshop

  Date: 02/28

  The Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) has announced the 2012 Qualified Allocation Plan Application Workshop will take place Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, GA. The workshop will provide an overview of the requirements and criteria for applicants who intend to submit applications for Federal and State Low Income Housing Tax Credits and HOME loan funds during the 2012 Competitive Funding Round. Early registration is open until January 16, 2012 and participants will be assessed a $100 workshop fee. Participants who register between January 17 and February 14 will be assessed a $125 workshop fee.
