The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has issued a draft notice of funding availability (NOFA) for approximately $30 million for Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers to be delivered to non-elderly disabled families served by entities experienced in supportive housing services. HUD is not currently accepting applications but is soliciting public comments by July 13 to address the threshold factors used to distribute this assistance and whether HUD should establish a more performance-based method for distributing vouchers. read more…
