The Franklin Johnston Group welcomed Christen Faatz, as the new Director of Corporate Strategy, and Theresa Cummings, as the Director of Human Resources.

Christen’s primary areas of focus are government and media relations, community engagement, business-to-business marketing, new business development, and strategic planning. She brings six years of legislative and communications experience to The Franklin Johnston Group, having most recently worked for Virginia legislators from the Hampton Roads and Northern Virginia areas. Christen is a graduate of the University of Virginia, a member of the junior board of the Virginia Beach Museum of Contemporary Art, and Chair of the Virginia Beach Young Republicans.

Theresa is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She specializes in employee relations, performance management, policy and procedure, process improvement, recruiting and talent development. Theresa will spearhead the company’s efforts to attract and retain the nation’s most talented individuals. Prior to joining The Franklin Johnston Group, Theresa was a HR Business Partner at Harbor Group Management. She is a Maryland native and a graduate of the University of Maryland’s R.H. Smith School of Business where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

The company manages approximately 10,000 units at 57 properties from Northern Virginia to Georgia.
