NEF_Rogersas_11.11.2015National Equity Fund, Inc. has named Michael G. Rogersas its new general counsel. Rogers returns to NEF after leaving in 2007 having served as associate general counsel for four years.

Most recently, Rogers worked as senior counsel with Holland & Knight LLP representing investors and syndicators in Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and New Markets Tax Credit transactions. Prior to that, he was a staff attorney with Sidley Austin LLP, also working on LIHTC deals. He held positions at Brent Kugman & Associates, FINOVA Capital Corporation, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and Greenberger, Krauss & Jacobs, Charted, all providing him with 28 years of experience as an attorney and more than 12 years with affordable housing programs.

Rogers obtained his law degree from Indiana University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Indiana University
