Walter M. Kubiak, the CEO of Mission First Housing Group, announced that he will become CEO Emeritus at the end of June 2016. During the next 6 months, the board will lead a process to select his successor and transition to the next phase of leadership.

“I am deeply proud of how Mission First has grown and changed since I came on in 1994,” Kubiak wrote in an e-mail. “At that time, Mission First was managing fewer than 325 units of affordable housing in Philadelphia. Today, 21 years after I assumed the role of CEO, Mission First ably manages nearly 3,000 apartments, providing a safe, affordable place to live for more than 4,000 residents across the Mid-Atlantic.”
