City Real Estate Advisors, Inc. (CREA) announced that Jason Racine has been appointed to vice president of acquisitions and will cover the Midwest territory. Racine has been active in affordable housing finance since 2007.

Racine will be responsible for identifying, structuring and closing affordable housing equity opportunities throughout the Midwest. He will be based in CREA’s Indianapolis office, and will report to Charles Anderson, executive vice president of acquisitions.

Anderson said, “Jason’s experience is yet another example of the bench strength we have built. His knowledge of the industry and what works for developers and investors is a reflection of CREA’s core tenets.”

Racine said, “It is an honor to join the CREA originations team. This group is unmatched in its personalized approach with its development partners as well as its ability to efficiently and effectively serve its clients. Having originally joined CREA from the developer side of the aisle, I am looking forward to using these experiences to enhance and build upon our existing developer base in a way that benefits everyone.”

Racine received an MBA and JD from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Benedictine University. He is a licensed attorney and CPA in Illinois.
