Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) is seeking personal stories of individuals and families who have struggled to find affordable housing and/or have experienced homelessness. Cantwell announced her plan to introduce legislation to expand the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program and will use personal stories to make the case to her fellow legislators that federal resources are severely needed to provide affordable housing. Cantwell is soliciting stories from every state in the U.S.
