On January 23, HUD published a notice in the Federal Register soliciting comment on the Moving to Work (MTW) demonstration program. The FY 2016 Appropriations Act authorizes expanding the program, adding an additional 100 PHAs over the next seven years. There are currently 39 PHAs participating.
Public comment is currently being requested for the draft Operations Notice which deals with implementation of the MTW program. The Agency asks for both comments on the document as a whole and asks specific questions in the notice as well (found in Appendix C). Comments are due to HUD no later than March 24, 2017.
