Gorman & Company is pleased to announce its new CEO, effective January 1, 2018, will be Brian Swanton. Brian has served as Gorman & Company’s Arizona Market President for the past eight years. During that time he has been very successful in building a large, dynamic portfolio of high-quality, award-winning housing. Brian has also been successful in building a strong and well-respected organization in Arizona. He has formed a multi-disciplinary team that works together in a cooperative and effective way.
Gary Gorman, the company’s current CEO, will become Gorman & Company’s Chairman of the Board of Directors as of January 1. Gary will continue to be involved in all significant decisions of the firm.
“I see this as a perfect time to transition the CEO role to a younger, but proven, leader in our company,” said Gorman. “Brian will come in at a time when we have seasoned and talented leadership throughout our company. I’m most proud of the talented group of people we’ve attracted as we’ve built our organization.”
Also, effective January 1 Gorman & Company’s COO, Tom Capp, will become Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and will serve as the company’s lead advisor on strategic planning and growth of the firm.
