New Fair Market Rents (FMRs) have been published at HUDuser.gov and will take effect on October 1, 2017.

Furthermore, in May of this year, HUD proposed changes to the methodology for estimating fair market rents (for a summary of those changes see a previous story). 22 public comments were submitted regarding the proposed changes, the majority of which were positive and the proposed changes have been accepted in their entirety.
