The National Park Service recently released its annual report Federal Tax Incentives for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings. The year saw 1,035 completed projects, 7,096 rehabilitated housing units, 12,102 new housing units, and 6,803 low and moderate income housing units created. Over the past 40 years, the historic credit has resulted in an estimated $89.7 billion in rehabilitation investment.

The report includes a summary of state-by-state activity in 2017 as well as a breakdown of project sizes.
