The US House of Representatives passed two appropriations bills that would fund the Departments of Transportation, HUD, and Related Agencies (H.R. 267) as well as the Departments of Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies (H.R. 265). H.R. 267 passed with a vote of 244-180, with twelve Republicans voting in favor of the bill, while H.R. 265 passed with a vote of 243-183. Both bills mirror the funding levels passed by their respective Senate Appropriations subcommittees in the 115th Congress – S. 1655 for HUD and S. 2976 for Agriculture.  Consideration by the US Senate is uncertain while negotiations relating to the border wall are ongoing.
