The National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) launched an Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Resource Hub, Dashboard and Program Table to monitor trends, facilitate resource sharing and help renters access emergency rental assistance. These resources include data and other information on programs funded by the $25 billion Treasury ERA program appropriated by the December 2020 Consolidated Appropriations Act (ERA1). In the coming weeks, these resources will also include data and information from the $21.6 billion appropriated by the American Rescue Plan (ERA2).

USDA Rural Development Decoupling Program Development Stakeholder Session – April 25
The decoupling of rental assistance from Section 514/515 loans under the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024 will now permit properties with Section 514/515 maturing mortgages to continue to receive rental assistance to further preserve affordable housing. A stakeholder engagement session is being held on April 25 at 2 p.m. ET and those interested in participating are encouraged to register.
