Last week the Senate held a voice vote to confirm Adrianne Todman as deputy secretary at HUD. NH&RA looks forward to continuing to work with Ms. Todman in her new role!
President Joe Biden (D) announced his intent to nominate Damon Smith to serve as HUD’s general counsel. Smith currently serves as principal deputy general counsel of HUD, and previously served as senior director of advocacy and counsel at the Credit Union National Association, where he represented cooperatively-owned, not-for-profit credit unions on housing, telecommunication and finance issues. During the Obama administration, Smith served as senior counsel and acting general counsel at HUD.
