Representative David Price (D-NC) announced that he will not seek reelection in 2022. Rep. Price has served as a longtime chairman of the Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (THUD) of the House Appropriations Committee. Rep. Price is the longest-serving member of North Carolina’s congressional delegation. He has served on the appropriations committee since 1991 and served 15 years on the THUD subcommittee, of which he spent three as chairman and four as ranking member.
