Budget reconciliation negotiations remain ongoing with a deadline of October 31. Advocacy is needed specifically from senators and representatives to leadership (Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senator Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY)) and to the National Economic Council at The White House.
NH&RA joined with many other organizations in a letter to the president and Congressional leaders calling for LIHTC and other affordable housing provisions to be included in the final package.
