The Architecture Team designed the renovation of Southeast Towers in Rochester, NY, a two-building, 376-unit property as part of New York State’s $1 billion House NY initiative, which aims to rehabilitate the state-funded portfolio of 35 aging Mitchell-Lama-era developments. TAT’s work at Southeast Towers, built in 1974 and now operated by Conifer Realty, includes meaningful and cost-effective upgrades. These include kitchen and bathroom upgrades with new plumbing, lighting and finishes throughout all apartments and common areas. Energy efficient HVAC and plumbing systems, elevator and fire alarm modernization and a complete envelope improvement program will further improve efficiencies, while tenants will also enjoy newly created and expanded interior and exterior amenity spaces.
