HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge testified before the House Appropriations Committee on the department’s FY 2024 Budget Request. Her written testimony is available here. Secretary Fudge highlighted the dangers of a continuing resolution citing the inability to continue assisting 125,000 currently assisted households and trouble keeping up with repairs in the public housing stock. Secretary Fudge will also appear before the Senate Appropriations Committee on April 20 at 10 a.m. ET.
