WinnCompanies announced the opening of Pasadena Studios in Pasadena, CA in late August. The owner, Community Builders Group, is a WinnResidential client and Winn will manage the property. The 180-unit development is 100 percent affordable housing, delivered entirely in micro-units. City planners believe it could offer a replicable model to help meet the area’s rental housing needs. Pasadena Studios was built at a cost of $250,000 per unit, which is significantly less than most affordable housing projects, especially in the Los Angeles market.
