HUD’s Office of Multifamily Housing issued a notice updating two provisions:
- Annual Base City High-Cost Percentages and High-Cost Areas; and
- Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) Guide’s base cost for Substantial Rehabilitation per unit and the maximum multifamily mortgage insurance loan limits, and Large Loan Risk Mitigation thresholds
These updates occur annually and are for FHA multifamily mortgage insurance Firm Commitment applications submitted or amended on or after January 1, 2025, so long as the loan has not been initially endorsed.
