HUD awarded over $10 million in Family Unification Program (FUP) funding, supporting 573 vouchers across 11 PHAs in California, Illinois, Minnesota, and Utah.
Along with rental assistance, youth recipients will receive 36 months of supportive services, including financial literacy, job prep, educational counseling, and nutrition guidance. Last month, HUD provided new flexibilities to reduce barriers and extend the time FUP and Foster Youth to Independence (FYI) voucher holders have to secure safe and stable housing.
