Chairman Mike Flood (R-NE) of the House Financial Services’ Housing and Insurance Subcommittee is working on another draft piece of legislation to exempt a long list of HUD and USDA housing programs from BABA compliance.

His office is requesting:

  1. Data that demonstrates the cost that BABA adds to HUD and USDA housing projects (beyond just the HOME program); and
  2. Anecdotes demonstrating in real terms the effects BABA compliance has on projects.
