On December 9, 2025, HUD published the FY 2025 Choice Neighborhoods Implementation (CNI) grants Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
- HUD anticipates making approximately four awards under the NOFO, totaling approximately $75 million.
- PHAs, county governments, municipal governments, and Indian housing authorities are eligible to apply.
- The NOFO contains eligibility and other requirements, application contents, and describes HUD’s selection process.
- Of note in the NOFO, selected applicants will be required to comply with the General Administrative, National, and Departments Policy Requirements and Terms for HUD’s Financial Assistance Programs, which includes compliance with applicable existing and future Executive Orders, as advised by HUD, among other requirements.
Applications are due March 9, 2026.
