The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) released section-by-section explainers breaking down the House of Representatives’ Housing for the 21st Century Act and the Senate’s ROAD to Housing Act. Both sweeping pieces of legislation combine more than 40 housing bills into a single legislative package.
What’s Next: The House is expected to consider the Housing for the 21st Century Act on the House floor. If it passes, House and Senate leaders will then need to reconcile the two housing packages through a conference process to produce a final bill.
