USDA proposed a rule to amend Section 515 regulations to allow Direct Multifamily Housing subsequent loans to be used for acquisition of properties.
This would allow owners of multifamily housing initially financed by USDA to help finance acquisitions in preservation transactions.
Comments are due by August 31.
