HUD awarded approximately $2.5 million in the second round of Rapid Unsheltered Survivor Housing (RUSH) funding to North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and the City of Houston. In 2024, these same areas received $8.8 million in RUSH funding to quickly address needs for homeless assistance and homeless prevention.
