The House and Senate left DC for summer recess. When both chambers reconvene in September, they’ll need to:
- Confirm more than 130 pending executive branch nominees;
- Fund the government ahead of the September 30 deadline; and
- Address the debt limit.

There’s increasing buzz about a potential second reconciliation bill.
