  NH&RA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors which is elected annually by its membership at the organization’s annual meeting. The Executive Committee is comprised of the organization’s officers and is elected annually by the Board of Directors. HUD Delivers Disaster Aid for Five States Impacted by Natural Disasters

HUD Secretary Turner announced the availability of federal disaster assistance for five states and two tribal lands to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected natural disasters in 2025 as follows:

Alaska: severe storms, flooding, and remnants of Typhoon Halong from October 8-13, 2025.
Kansas: severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding from June 3-7, 2025.
North Carolina: areas affected by Tropical Depression Chantal on July 6-7, 2025.
North Dakota: severe storms, tornadoes and straight-line winds on June 20-21, 2025.
Wisconsin: severe storms, straight-line winds, flooding and mudslides from August 9-12, 2025.
Crow Tribe of Montana: severe storms, straight-line winds and flooding from May 18-22, 2025.
Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate of the Lake Traverse Reservation: severe storm and flooding from June 12-16, 2025.
