Preservation of Affordable Housing, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, and the Boston Housing Authority celebrated the completion of The Amp, the third and final phase of Flat 9 at Whittier in Roxbury, Massachusetts. The multi-year redevelopment replaced 200 public housing units with 210 affordable homes and created 262 additional mixed-income rental units.

Beacon Communities, the City of Boston, and the Boston Housing Authority completed the redevelopment of The Anne M. Lynch Homes at Old Colony in Boston, MA, culminating a 20-year long project. Old Colony is now a community of 887 homes across a mix of mid-rise and townhome buildings, replacing all 845 original units.
