Sen. Slotkin Introduces National Housing Emergency Act of 2026
Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) introduced the National Housing Emergency Act of 2026, requiring President Trump to declare a national housing emergency and to invoke the Defense Production Act to incentivize housing production and build 4 million homes.
