The Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee voted 15-9 to advance Bill Pulte’s nomination to lead the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) to the full Senate.

HUD awarded approximately $2.5 million in the second round of Rapid Unsheltered Survivor Housing (RUSH) funding to North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and the City of Houston.

Scott Turner was confirmed by the full Senate, 55-44, as Secretary of HUD on February 5.

Secretary Turner issued an order directing HUD to stop any pending or future enforcement actions related to the 2016 rule entitled “Equal Access in Accordance with an Individual’s Gender Identity in Community Planning and Development Programs.”

HUD delayed the effective date of the HOME Final Rule from February 5 to April 20.
