Merchants Capital announced the closing of $102 million in combined debt and equity financing to support the redevelopment of Granada Senior Apartments.

Developer Woda Cooper Companies, in conjunction with co-developer nonprofit Parallel Housing, Inc., announced that Stanley Terrace, a 60-unit general occupancy affordable development in Plainfield, IN, was allocated LIHTC through the Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority.  

WinnCompanies said it plans to open a 70-unit apartment community for military veterans, including those transitioning from homelessness, and it will be one of the first private veterans’ communities in the United States to offer rental housing to former service members at a range of incomes along with comprehensive services, including a program to help move veterans toward homeownership. 

California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA) said its bond recycling program has steadily gathered interest from local government partners, as well as affordable housing developers, leading to an announcement of local partnerships with San Diego and San Francisco.  

MassHousing said it closed on $9 million in financing to Dakota Partners, Inc., to support the development of Phase I of the Woodland Cove affordable rental housing community in Wareham, MA.  

Standard Communities said it is completing extensive energy efficiency upgrades at Polyclinic Apartments, a 151-unit, 100 percent affordable community at 341 West 50th Street in Manhattan.

Dominium announced the closing of the land sale to build a new 331-unit affordable housing development for seniors in Kissimmee, FL. 

Local Initiatives Support Coalition announced that Jennifer Maddox, undersecretary of the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development, received the 2021 LISC Community Impact Award in recognition of her leadership of the statewide Eviction Diversion Initiative.  

Cinnaire announced the promotion of Josh Ghena to senior vice president, equity business funding, and Mike Witt to senior vice president of asset management.

Community Preservation Partners announced the appointment of Belinda Oakes as chief financial officer.

Community Preservation Partners announced the acquisition of Chandler Ridge Apartments, a 228-unit mixed-income community in Raleigh, NC for $26 million.

Hunt Capital Partners, in collaboration with co-developers Brenham Housing Authority and Brazos Trace Brenham LLC, announced it has closed on $10.46 million in LIHTC financing for Fairview Terrace, an environmental social governance investment.
