Ohio Hosts Compliance Training; Continuing Education Credits for SHCM, HCCP, and CPA
The Ohio Housing Finance Agency’s (OHFA) Compliance Training focuses primarily on the basics of compliance for the Housing Tax Credit program (also known as the HTC program). The course is a QAP requirement and also may be required to fulfill OHFA’s Experience and Capacity Review Requirements.

Ohio Housing Finance Agency has begun the technical revision process for the 2016-2017 Qualified Allocation Plan. In accordance with OHFA’s two-year allocation plan, only minor revisions are expected for the 2017 period.

OHFA intends to award and administer Rental Assistance Contracts (RAC) to eligible owners of multifamily rental properties funded by OHFA’s Housing Tax Credit Program.
Ohio Suspends the Use of the Utility Allowance Consumption Model
OHFA announced that effective July 1, 2016, new requests for a consumption based utility allowance will not be accepted. Owners who have requested a consumption based allowance prior to July 1 are exempt from this suspension.
