The Arkansas Development Finance Authority has released guidance on its three-tier selection process for the low-income housing tax credit assistance and Section 1602 “Exchange” programs, under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
- Tier 1 — projects initially considered for unused, returned and as-needed 2009 tax credits;
- Tier 2 — projects considered after ADFA determines the amount of remaining credits after Tier 1 awards;
- Tier 3 — projects considered after ADFA determines the amount of remaining credits after Tier 1 and Tier 2 awards.
