The Mississippi Home Corporation (MHC) has released a summary of proposed revisions to its 2010 qualified allocation plan (QAP) for its low-income housing tax credit program.  Proposed major changes include to.



  • Create a new section on ineligible applicants;
  • Require all applicants to notify MHC in advance of the public hearing by submitting the Notice of Publication Form and Attachment 7 Site Assessment Form;
  • Make additional credits available on a first come, first served basis subject to the extent available;
  • Require owners to submit quarterly status reports to MHC’s Compliance Monitoring Division once a project is placed in service; and,
  • Modify eligible scoring criteria and point categories.
