The Federal Preservation Institute and the U.S. National Park Service (NPS) have released the 2010 Directory of Cultural Resources Programs to assist staff in Federal agencies and other professionals in finding cultural resources programs within the National Park Service that provide historic preservation assistance.  The Directory lists all NPS programs that provide direct assistance for historic preservation activities, a description of the program and administrative division in which it is located, and a point of contact.  Included in the Directory are:

  • Heritage Preservation Assistance Programs under the Federal Preservation Institute
  • Historic American Buildings Survey
  • Historic Preservation Grants Program
  • Historic Preservation Tax Incentive Program
  • National Register of Historic Places

  • Tribal Historic Preservation Program
