The Arizona Department of Housing recently released its final utility allowance guidelines for low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) properties. The guidelines require that LIHTC properties must demonstrate that the utility allowance charged for a rent-restricted unit complies with one of the methods described in the regulations.
