The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) has completed its review of the regulations implementing Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act “requires Federal agencies to take into account the effects of their undertakings on historic properties, and afford the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation a reasonable opportunity to comment.” The ACHP adopted a plan for completing this and future reviews on August 11, 2011.
