In a special called meeting on August 16, 2011, the Tax Credit Committee of the Tennessee Housing Development Agency’s Board of Directors considered various issues with regard to the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program for 2011 and 2012. As a result, the Tax Credit Committee will make recommendations regarding the 2011 and 2012 Qualified Allocation Plans for approval by the Board at its regularly scheduled meeting on September 27. The meeting’s agenda includes the following LIHTC topics:

  • Set-aside for applications covered by a Community Revitalization Plan (CRP) and located within a Qualified Census Tract (QCT)
  • Forward commitment of 2012 tax credits
  • Preference for HOPE VI / Choice Neighborhoods / Mixed Finance applications
