The Delaware State Housing Authority has released its 2012 Qualified Allocation Plan for administering the low-income housing tax credit allocation process, as well as a cover letter, change sheet, attachments, and a summary of public comments. Key changes to the 2012 QAP include:

  • Modified set-aside amounts for Non-Profit ($252,500) and Preservation Rehabilitation ($826,337) pools;
  • Created new $600,000 set-aside pool for New Housing Creation;
  • Raised developer fee limits to 12% and 9% (the maximum fee amount of $1 million did not change);
  • Created or modified certain point amounts/categories;
  • Added the temporarily fixed 9% applicable federal rate through 2013;

2012 applications are due April 13, 2012.
